We know this is a little late on posting, but on behalf of all Fragapalooza staff, volunteers, sponsors and the world at large, we thank everyone who made it out to the event for your continued support and participation.  This year has been one of great success for Fragapalooza both as an organization and because of you the participants, and we hope to continue that success in the following year!  So stay tuned and stay frosty!

Guys we are auctioning off a one-of-a-kind custom XBox Guitar Hero guitar and game with the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research.  This guitar has had hundreds of hours of work done to make it with the FP Logo.  This would make an excellent keepsake for any die-hard Fragapalooza attendee.

SC2 tournaments both have their times updated, 1v1 starts up pretty much now,  the 2v2 picks up again at 3pm,  TF2 starts up at 12:30

Fragbux betting has been enabled in the brackets, so you can bet by going to the "game" page ie: http://www.fragapalooza.com/tournament/showgame/1947  , scroll to the bottom and make your bet.

Also there will be a badminton tournament running tomorrow at around 4pm or so.

For those of us inclined to partake in some good old cuboid construction and exploration, there are two official Minecraft servers set up for you to explore and expand upon. 

The first, located at 10.0.13.84 is a  survival server if you're more inclined towards fighting on behalf of the humans in the fight against the oppressive creepers!.

 The second is a creatively inclined server for you to build big and build grand, let your imagination run free with the assistance of WorldEdit.  This one is located at "tower" where you can contribute to the community projects of Brixton, The Academy and Masinaari or set up a fresh claim in the wilderness.  Access http://tower:8123/ for a dynamic map for Euphorea.

For those at the event you can join the mumble server(voip like vent) at mumble.fp.ca and create your own channels to chat with your friends.  If you create a channel in the Announcement sub channel then you can also hear announcements!

We are just finishing up the last bits of setup so we can be sure we are ready for you tomorrow.  One of the things we do is print off the seating placemats so you know where you are to sit.  As of 4pm this afternoon any changes you have made to the seating chart are not valid.  I simply forgot to disable seating so that is my bad.  I have heard people say they have selected seats or moved seats this evening...guess what.  You didn't.  :)

Here is the Waiver & Registration forms pdf.  It's not necessary for you to print this out as we will have these forms at the event, however if you are under 18 you will need the waiver form signed by a guardian that is over 18.

The rules for the Starcraft 2 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments have been posted.  If there are any major concerns with the rules as proposed, feel free to locate me in the IRC channel or bram< A T >fragapalooza(D0T)ca.

We are also looking to get ahold of some local Starcraft 2 shoutcasting talent who would like the opportunity to shoutcast both the 1v1 and 2v2 games this year.  If you, or someone you know might be interested, let us know and we can set something up!

Fragapalooza is sad and happy at the same time.  Unfortunately due to budgeting concerns, HP Networking division is not able to support Fragapalooza 2011 with our networking needs.  We are sad to see them go, as they have been a strong supporter of our event for quite a few years.

This year at Fragapalooza we will be running a 2 Starcraft II Tournaments,  a 1v1 and a 2v2.  Also we will be running a TF2 5v5 tournament,  Please install and update your game clients as bandwidth at the venue may be limited.

Also we have opened the seating page up on the site,  http://www.fragapalooza.com/site/seating  We will be gradually opening up rows as the current spots fill up.  

Rules for the tournament will be posted in the next few days  rules and formats will be similar to  last year.

As August gets ever nearer and anticipation rises, I can announce that this year we will be running two Starcraft II tournaments!  In addition to the return of  a new and improved 1v1 tournament, participants can team up for some good old team destruction in the 2v2 tournament.  Can't decide which you would prefer to participate in?  Play in both!!!  We are currently in the process of drafting the rules and format for both of these tournaments and they will be released as soon as we get all the last kinks worked out.
